The Departure Lounge, Luxury Travel Specialists
After years working for the UK’s largest travel agent companies, Jo Robinson founded The Departure Lounge in 2008 as a team of one. Her goal was to build a brand that would not only be known for providing the best destinations for its clients, but also the most luxurious experience of planning and booking a holiday.
Our team has since grown to include 2 offices and and incredible team of travel specialists who support hundreds of people each year. And whilst we may have different views on the perfect destination, we all believe that the perfect holiday comes down to the planning and execution. So, we’re fanatical about the finer details, proud of the personal service we provide, and our clients trust us to be ahead of the game when it comes to final touches.
We’re independent and personal
As an independent travel agency, we’re always expanding our clients’ horizons with access to the widest selection of destinations, accommodation and experiences. We’re all well-travelled and have even been known to scope out destinations before confirming a booking for our client – purely for their benefit, of course!
Knowing everything there is to know about your holiday is our top priority. And as part of the The Co-operative Travel Consortium, our supplier list is forever growing! We work with a whole host of local and international suppliers to create mind-blowing itineraries that assure quality service and a luxurious feel. Plus, we’re ABTA and ATOL bonded, meaning you always know your investment is safe with us.
